We must first get the clay from deep within the earth, before transporting it to our factory. The people working at our factory are experts who know what they are doing. They work the clay until it is pliable and soft. They want to mold the clay into a mug shape after that. This is where the fun begins! We have lots of different shapes and sizes to pick from, and we like to get creative with our designs. There are tall mugs and wide mugs, and even some with fun handles!
After the clay is formed into a mug, it must be fired in a kiln. A kiln is a specialized oven that reaches very high temperatures — way hotter than your home oven. The clay is transformed by this heat and turns hard and strong. We then invite our talented artists to paint and decorate the mugs after they have been baked. To enhance the appearance of the mug, they use vivid colors and trendy design.
When we refer to quality, we actually mean using the finest materials that money can buy. We use the best quality clay and paints that are not harmful for anyone. We care deeply about quality because we want your mugs to have good longevity for you.
Skill is another key factor. This means that it is the very cautious and talented work of our artists. They take great pride in their work, even going so far as to paint each mug by hand. Each artists puts their stamp on them so every mug is just slightly different.

At Fenn, we have a meticulous method to ensure that each mug is right. First, we mold the clay into the shape of a mug. This is a critical step as it gives us the base for the mug. After that, we fire it in a kiln to prepare it for the next processes.
But after the first baking, the mug is still plain, so now we paint and decorate it with a brush by hand. This is where the creativity truly comes out! This step is done with love by our artists to make each mug special. We finally bake the mug again to ensure that the designs adhere and do not come off when washing.
