Designing dinner plates is the first step in making them. This is where the fun starts! Artists and designers get together to brainstorm cool and pretty patterns for each plate. They want every single plate to be special and different. After completing the design, the production team starts the work. The team is tasked with creating a mold, or a shape that the plate will assume.
Now let’s go inside the white dinner plates. Then, the production team comes up with different methods to create the mold and the process begins. For instance, they can hand-sketch the design, which is similar to drawing a picture or use a computer to construct a 3D model. A 3D model is a specific type of drawing that helps to visualize what the plate will look like in 3D. The clay will be poured into the mold once the mold has been made. Then, they placed the mold into a kiln to dry. A kiln is a large oven that is very hot. Once the clay is dried, the plate is painted and glazed to make it shiny and aesthetic.

These plates are hard to break and chip, they are also very difficult to crack. The glaze that coats them is high-temperature, which means that it is stands a lot of heat.
